We are looking for a Services Intern to work on maintaining our IT infrastructure. This role involves performing daily, weekly, and monthly system checks on workstations, servers, databases, and network devices. The intern will also engage in basic troubleshooting and reporting, with training provided. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in computing, networking, and virtualization within a supportive team environment. Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with backend IT service management, training provided by senior service engineers, exposure to enterprise-level networking and system administration.
How you will do it:
Perform regular system checks on workstations, servers, databases, and network devices.
Assist in basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when required.
Generate reports on system health and identified issues.
Conduct checks on Juniper and WatchGuard network devices.
Communicate effectively with end-users regarding system issues.
Collaborate with senior service engineers and learn from their expertise.
What we look for:
Pursuing a diploma in Information Techology/Computer Science from a reputable educational institution
Basic computing skills, including familiarity with RDBMS and virtualization technology
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Good communication skills to relay technical details to end-users.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a team environment.
Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months preferred.
