Job Description

This position is responsible for providing analytical support to the Commercial Finance team in the areas of financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. The intern will be responsible for completing specific duties related to month end close, planning, forecasting, budgeting and general business analysis. 

Responsibilities

Primarily duties within the Sales Finance organization.  Specific duties to include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Assist in the collection of monthly financial data and analysis of monthly financial results
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecasting, planning and reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package
  • Assistance with ongoing projects as needed
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as assigned

Qualifications

Current full time student enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate level program.  GPA of 3.0 or higher, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Graduate Internship
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Core Competencies to be Successful: – Excellent communication and interaction skills, both oral and written.  Solid financial acumen and analytical/problem solving ability.  Strong customer service orientation is required with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.  Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.  Requires one to be a team player with a positive attitude, highly motivated, a change oriented individual able to work with a variety of people at all levels; as well as a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team.  

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
  • Primary work environment is professional corporate office
  • Ability to travel commercially to domestic and international locations

The salary range for this role is:

$19.00- $29.50 an hour

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
