The regional CFO team for Emerging Markets (reporting to the Group CFO) provides overall finance management to the region head related to key front topics and requires a broad skillset from both analytical and interpersonal level.YOUR CHALLENGEAct as partner to the business: Project management for product or finance related requests (e.g. loans, subsidies, rates programs, capital/funding analysis, pricing analysis, etc.).
Maintain and improve the monitoring of initiatives with full responsibility for reconciliations
Strategic finance topics: Support monthly financial reporting processes and provide commentary for Senior Management; contribute towards financial planning for the Region and Markets and/or bigger local legal entities; work alongside Corporate Development team on M&A projects
Ad hoc finance deep dives: Analysis for specific senior management requests (e.g. Net New Money, local business transformation plans, strategic finance developments, etc.)
Drive transformation projects for strategic finance topics: Assist financial planning through financial modelling and identify & drive implementation of ongoing enhancements for the purpose of performance steering
University student (Bachelor or Master level) or recent graduate
Initial practical experience in finance or corporate finance and/or wealth management is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity for conceptual thinking
Proactive and with ability to work independently
“Can-do-attitude” coupled with openness to challenges and willingness to learn
Proficient user in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English is a requirement (spoken and written), German and other languages meritorious
