Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Cygnus Technologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Research & Development (R&D) team as a R&D Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Intern. As a R&D Intern you will learn lab bench sample preparation, get hands on experience with chromatography, large format 2D-electrophoresis, spot counting, data analysis, and report writing and review. You will become familiar with the techniques and processes of the lab and will then design and conduct an experiment within the R&D lab, culminating in a presentation of the findings.
Project Milestones:
- Learn protein quantification methods
- Progress to learning more advanced techniques such as FPLC, 2D-PAGE, and LC-MS
- Data entry, collection, and analysis
- Review data analysis workflows and propose optimizations
By the end of the internship you will be able to identify and demonstrate protein quantification methods, advanced lab techniques, and be able to communicate a clear understand of lab data analytics and workflows.
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree, currently in the Junior year or Senior year. Preferred areas of study are Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Biology.
