Intern - Quality/Operational Technology

This internship role is designed for high-performing undergraduate students from local universities pursuing degrees in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields. It offers hands-on project experience that contributes to Smith+Nephew’s growth while supporting the intern’s professional development.
Interns will be exposed to meaningful work, team collaboration, and occasional social or networking activities. The program provides valuable industry insight into the medical device sector, helping shape future career paths and potential employment opportunities.
What will you be doing?
Develop automated workflows and digital tools to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and build dashboards for enhanced business trend analysis.
Collaborate with managers to complete assigned intern projects that support departmental objectives.
Support engineers in software stress testing and assist in drafting Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation.
What will you need to be successful?
The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate or undergraduate currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, and undergoing industrial training. They should possess strong analytical skills, effective collaboration abilities, and excellent oral and written communication. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and programming experience is also required.
