As a Project Coordinator, your role will be vital in coordinating and ensuring the successful execution of assigned projects. You will closely collaborate with other project managers, team members, stakeholders, and customers. Project Coordinators are required to have strong customer management skills as they are customer-facing. The role also involves interacting with other groups within the organization, such as Product Owners, Solution Management, and Sales. Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to ensure that projects are delivered according to plan. The Project Coordinator will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities
    • Assist the PMO Manager in planning, monitoring, and evaluating projects to ensure they run smoothly and stay on track. Collaborate with the PMO Manager to plan, develop, and deliver communications and engagement activities regarding PM methodologies, fostering understanding about key areas.  Escalate critical issues promptly to the PMO Manager, providing detailed context and potential solutions.
    • Consolidate and maintain project plans with customer project managers, prioritize projects, align resources, manage dependencies, and report on project scope, schedule and budget progress, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor project progress continuously and create detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables. Manage financial and resource control to track and analyze project data for risk mitigation.
    • Ensure project documentation is maintained. Proactively monitor and report project progress to executives, highlighting and resolving risk factors.
    • Understands and adheres to all requirements of the Quality Management System and the Information Security Management System.
    • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
    • Communicate proactively with all personnel to encourage, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education/Experience
    • An associate's degree in business administration/information systems or two years of experience directing technical and non-technical staff in implementing projects that utilize software development methodologies.
    • PMP, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), SAFe, etc. preferred.
Computer Skills
    • Advanced computer skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.), Web-based project management solutions (JIRA, Confluence, Gantt Pro, etc.)
