Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) is a key department at Constellation Brands operated by highly engaged and skilled employees creating value for customers such as business partners and internal stakeholders alike.
GFSS is responsible for the shared delivery activities of the finance processes at Constellation such as Payroll, Indirect Tax, Procure-to-Pay, Credit-to-Cash, Accounts Payable, and Transactional Analytics. This role will be supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Procure to Pay specifically.
GFSS delivers high-quality services, optimizes processes and locations, and focuses on the development of the people in their departments.
The intern will have visibility into essential, business-critical processes at Constellation Brands. During this internship, you’ll learn what a Global Finance Shared Services organization looks like at a growing company. This is an exciting opportunity aimed at delivering high-caliber professionals and future leaders, through project work, on-the-job training and related development. This position will support the Company’s financial services function while developing proficiency in analytics and financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a variety of assignments and projects across multiple financial business functions
- Perform specific and limited portions of less complex assignments for higher-level staff
- Assist with ongoing improvements to finance related processes and policies
- Support functional staffs by performing basic and repetitive assignments as needed
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate major in Accounting, Business or Finance. (preference: candidate completed three years of undergraduate studies)
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Proficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software
Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
- Primary work environment is professional corporate office
- Ability to travel commercially to domestic and international locations
The salary range for this role is:
$19.00- $29.50 an hour
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
