ABOUT THE TEAM

PSP already has meaningful presence in Asian private equity (current exposure of c.C$5 billion), having made commitments to several private equity funds and completed multiple direct/co-investments in the region, with robust investment activity expected going forward. This is truly a unique opportunity to join a dynamic regional office of a globally established investment firm. As an Intern of the PE team in Asia, the selected candidate will gain exposure to high deal velocity/variety with excellent learning opportunities.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE 

As an Intern, Private Equity, you’ll be responsible for:  

  • Company and market research

  • Financial analysis, valuation and modelling

  • Assisting in the execution of transactions and portfolio monitoring

  • Drafting investment memoranda, internal and external presentations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 
  • Excellent academic credentials; a business, economics or scientific degree is preferred, but other degrees will also be considered
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Prior internships in private equity, investment banking or consulting is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of Asian languages and international experience will be considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including a solid understanding of corporate finance and key accounting principles
  • Proactive attitude and sense of initiative
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
