Intern - Planning
Based at Unichela, Koggala
We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to support planning operations through data analysis, reporting, and coordination activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning processes, business operations, and data driven decision making while working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily planning and operational activities within the department.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of planning reports, schedules, and operational records.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support planning and decision-making processes.
- Assist in maintaining planning databases, records, and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Support demand, capacity, and resource planning activities through data gathering and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on planning-related tasks and projects.
- Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Attend meetings, document key discussions, and follow up on assigned action items.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Undergraduate or Graduate pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Data Science, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of Power BI, data visualization tools, or data analytics concepts will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn planning, reporting, and business operations processes.
Skills Required
