QualificationsHigh School Diploma. Enrolled as a full-time student in good standing at, or a recent Graduate of, a College of Pharmacy approved by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Alternatively, a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate who has achieved Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC®) Certification through the National Association of Board of Pharmacy (NABP) will be considered.
Hospital pharmacy experience desirable. The pharmacy internship is commenced with the expected outcome of the intern becoming a licensed pharmacist. A graduate intern has graduated from a College of Pharmacy approved by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and has applied for a license as a pharmacist by examination or reciprocity or has been determined by order of the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy to need intern training.
