The Role
About the role: We are seeking an Intern for our PC Depot team who is interested in gaining experience within a leading Managed Services Provider. Dataprise’s Internship Program offers candidates with a meaningful internship experience from which they can make informed future career decisions. Interns are fully integrated into our business and assigned work where they can make an impact and contribute to projects solving real business problems faced by our company. What You’ll Do:
  • Learn a ton, be faced with new challenges every day, and gain exposure to the most cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with a great team to identify solutions to customer support requests and escalate to other team members or external resources as needed. 
  • Take ownership of customer incidents and requests by providing telephone, remote and email support to our clients and logging incidents and requests.
  • Provide monitoring for internal resources and client proprietary applications.
  • Provide telephone, remote and email technical support to Dataprise clients.
  • Perform password resets in Active Directory and creating Active Directory users accounts and distribution groups.
  • Create user accounts in Office365.
  • Configure workstations and image workstations by using customer specific workstation setup guides available on share drives.
  • Perform Active Sync setups on mobile devices.
     
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
  • A strong desire to learn and focus to ensure we are helping our clients win with IT.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Currently enrolled full-time in community college or university or recent college graduate in IT or related field; enrolled in IT Technical School/ Prgram. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Available for the entire Summer of 2024 to work as an Intern for Dataprise.
  • Preferred Industry certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA).
