The Role

Otsuka’s internship program, Intern the Otsuka Way (InTOW), offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learn about the complexities of the pharmaceutical industry, and gain insights into potential career paths. By combining practical experience with professional development, our program prepares interns for future success. Our internship program also includes instructor led trainings, a leadership engagement series, as well as insightful lunch and learns.

Job Description 

The Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for the overall recruitment processes including but not limited to identifying, attracting, and acquiring the best talent for specific roles in the company. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team and support the TA Operations Manager in various recruitment and operational activities.

  • As a Talent Acquisition intern, you will be involved in supporting multiple administrative tasks within the recruitment functions, such as sourcing potential candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media platforms.

  • The intern will also coordinate interview schedules, ensuring a smooth and timely process for both candidates and hiring managers. Once candidates are identified and hired, the intern will conduct background checks and verify any discrepancies.

  • Work directly with the TA Operations Manager to engage in employer branding efforts, ensuring hiring needs and job descriptions align with the overall business strategy.

  • Identify and communicate marketplace talent trends to include strategies that take advantage of opportunities within changing landscapes.

  • Projects will be formulated based on corporate priorities, business requirements, intern interests and alignment to development objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • By Fall 2025 candidate must be considered an undergraduate senior or above

  • Pursuing a degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field.

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship.

  • Can commit to full duration of internship program.
