About Saks Analytics:
Saks Analytics teams are responsible for building and innovating the Saks online and offline experience,
consisting of different functional teams across Reporting, Analytics, Data Science and Market mix functions. The team
builds deep solutions across marketing, customer and product to enable real time decisioning for the business functions.
About this role:
We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team. This internship program offers hands-on experience in problem solving and data sciences, by providing an opportunity to develop skills and gain insight into the Luxury retail domain while working with our experienced professionals.
● A successful candidate will primarily focus on driving business results through development of solutions that will
enable business impact .
● They will support Saks strategies through the delivery of well thought out and brainstormed ideas along with their
teams for Saks.
● Conduct research and gather relevant information to support the execution.
● Collaborate with team members to contribute to the overall success of deliverables.
● Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and developments.
● The ability to think strategically about customer and business challenges and proactively propose solutions will be
critical to their success.
Exciting Tech Stack .Technical , Problem solving areas you get to learn in:
● AWS services, Snowflake, Airflow , Dockers
● Programming languages like Python, SQL, Pyspark, Rust
● Next Gen BI tools like Looker, Tableau
● Exciting problems on customer journeys, site conversions, next gen models for recommenders & customer intent
and customer experience analytics.
● End to End Automation
Key Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering (Computer Science or Information Science).
● Strong academic record, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Good understanding of object oriented programming.
● Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
● A legitimate interest in learning anything new, thereby helping with identifying business problems to lift revenue
and profits.
● High aptitude thinking and a knack for effective communication is desired.
● Forward thinking is the key to this role as new technologies and opportunities present themselves.
● Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
