Job Description

The RM and BI team has a huge ambition to provide first class services across a growing proportion of the Accor Portfolio and enhance our SMDL activities through improved data driven insight measurement and advanced analytics. It is one of the largest teams of its kind with significant growth in its sights, equipped by a robust training programme and leading toolkits to enable our team to be the best.

The main purpose of the role is to provide our marketing and e-commerce teams with data, insights, analysis and recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns across all channels, enable better business decisions and drive a better customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operational reporting: Assist with running or building reports to monitor trends (e.g. Summer Sales offer, cancellations)
  • Data analysis: conduct strategic analysis on key commercial topics using internal and external sources of data such as competitors’ activities or industry reports
  • Project Participation: Support and contribute to key departmental projects and initiatives, such as the promotional planning process or the annual budgeting process
  • Operational Support: Assist in supporting daily tasks, such as providing data extracts or answering ad hoc queries from stakeholders
  • Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data analytics, computer science, business or any STEM discipline
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Google Analytics, MS Office and Python. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
  •  In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels (CRM, PPC, metasearch, social media)
  • Sound understanding of statistics concepts (e.g. propensity modelling, hypothesis testing, regression analysis) preferred
  • Sound commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Ability to derive insights from data and make clear recommendations
