Support the cybersecurity and managed IT services team in monitoring, securing, and improving customer IT environments. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to AI-driven security operations, SIEM monitoring, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, and digital forensics investigations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring security alerts from SIEM/EDR platforms (e.g. Wazuh, Sophos, Microsoft Defender)
Support AI-assisted threat detection and security analytics activities
Assist in analysing suspicious activities, malware alerts, and cybersecurity incidents
Support digital forensics investigations including log analysis, endpoint investigation, and evidence collection
Assist in monitoring endpoint health, antivirus status, and security compliance
Support firewall, server, and network security administration tasks
Assist in vulnerability assessment and patch management activities
Support cybersecurity documentation, SOP creation, and incident reporting
Assist in IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking
Participate in cybersecurity improvement and automation projects
Research emerging cyber threats, ransomware trends, CVEs, and attack techniques
Assist in phishing simulation and cybersecurity awareness initiatives
Support ISO 27001 and Singapore Cyber Trust Mark compliance activities
Requirements
