Summary
We are seeking for a detail-oriented IT Procurement Intern to support out IT Procurement team in acquiring software & services. This role offers hands-on experience in vendor management, purchase order processing & IT asset tracking.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist Procurement team in procurement tasks
Familiarization with Scoot Procurement Guidelines
Familiarization with the different IT Products and Services which is related to the function of each IT teams
Learn to gather requirements and information from vendors submitted documents and requestors (Contract owners)
Familiarization with ESC Procurement Case creation and required inputs
Familiarization with different contractual documents (Master Agreement, SOW, Addendum/Amendments, Quotation, Sales Order, Work Order, Order Form etc).
Familiarization with different stakeholders and work closely with them (Procurement team, Legal, Tax Dept, Sustainability team and IT Business Unit
Familiarization with common vendors and the service and products that they offer
Exposure to NetSuite and Raising Purchase Order
Documentation of the learnings during internship
Requirements:
Currently pursuing Degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain or any related field
Able to work independently
Strong in analytical & problem-solving skills
Strong in communication & negotiation skills
Attention to details and able to manage multiple task efficiently
Basic understanding of IT hardware, software & services
Able to commit minimum 3-6 months of credit-bearing internship
