CHANEL

At Chanel, our values are grounded in creating the conditions for people to perform at their best and feel fulfilled and confident in their work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Open Innovation team is a future-forward innovation ecosystem for CHANEL. Operating at the intersection of the organization and the wider world, we envision the road ahead for luxury and for CHANEL, fast-tracking potential responses through our network of investments and partnerships. We pressure-test these ideas both inside and outside CHANEL, enabling the House to create positive impact from leading-edge learnings and capabilities and to prepare its businesses for the future.

The Innovation Programs team designs and delivers CHANEL’s flagship internal innovation initiatives — from Chanel Sparks, our intrapreneurship program, to community experiences, broadcasts, and content that brings future-facing ideas to life across the House.

We’re looking for a motivated Intern to join the Innovation Programs team in London, reporting to the Lead, Innovation Programs. This is a hands-on support role spanning program coordination, event and production support, and day-to-day operations. You’ll gain direct exposure to how a global luxury House designs, delivers, and scales flagship internal innovation programs.

IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

Program & Coordination Support

  • Help keep multiple programs on track by maintaining timelines and flagging upcoming milestones.
  • Support the coordination of our flagship intrapreneurship program — logistics, internal briefs, submissions, and scoring — across regions and time zones.
  • Assist in coordinating delivery partners, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

Event & Production Support

  • Support logistics and production coordination across internal events, broadcasts, and flagship experiences.
  • Assist with run-of-show prep, filming coordination, and on-the-ground execution during live events.
  • Help manage day-to-day vendor and partner communications against agreed briefs and timelines.

Operations & Reporting

  • Track budgets, prepare purchase orders, and keep spend records up to date.
  • Help track program metrics and pull them into clear reporting for the team.
  • Support stakeholder follow-ups and Innovation Community engagement activities

WHAT YOU WILL BRING/HAVE

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset — comfortable taking initiative, asking questions, and navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Curiosity about Generative AI tools, and interest in or exposure to innovation, events, community, or intrapreneurship programs (through coursework, an internship, a university group, or personal projects)

YOU ARE ENERGISED BY

  • Keeping busy, multi-program work organized and running smoothly.
  • Supporting exceptional experiences, from early planning through to live delivery.
  • Contributing to a small, high-impact team whose work shapes CHANEL's future-facing innovation agenda.
  • Learning how flagship innovation programs are designed, built, and scaled inside a global House.
  • Exploring new tools and technologies that improve how teams operate

At Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress. We believe the uniqueness of each individual increases the diversity, complementarity, and effectiveness of our teams. We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience, and potential you could bring to CHANEL.
