 Program Overview

  • Role: Undergraduate 2026 LG Summer Intern – HR Payroll Team
  • Duration: 9-week program (June 1st – July 31st)
  • Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM (Onsite)
  • Location: LG North America Innovation Campus (HQ), Englewood Cliffs, NJ
  • Compensation: $25.00 per hour

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team at the NJ Headquarters (onsite). This internship is designed for a student pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting. The intern will gain experience and knowledge in the world of Payroll Tax, which includes Federal, State and Local taxation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in obtaining login/password information for state and local jurisdictions, across six companies.
  • Respond and manage tax notices as received, as well as help clean up historical notices.
  • Ensure tax compliance with state and local agencies via research and phone calls.
  • Run reports and create spreadsheets for quarterly and annual balancing.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and provide consistent progress updates to leadership.
  • Help with process improvements as requested.
  • Create documentation and user guides for newly developed processes.
  • Payroll administrative work, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Finance or Accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and find variances with the provided tools.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
