Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assists with research and presentations on public policy issues, while providing reports and analytics as needed.

  • Supports Federal and State Government Affairs and Alliance Development teams with projects and day-to-day activities.

  • Provides logistical support for Government Affairs events and external opportunities.

  • Participates in Intern program engagement and development opportunities.

  • Performs other related duties as needed.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • The successful candidate will have completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Political Science degree program (i.e., or a related field of study). A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

  • Has a specific interest or education in Healthcare in the Government Affairs space.

  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and an understanding of relevant social media platforms.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with external partners.

  • Must possess proficient computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Contributes to the goals of the Government Affairs team, while also being able to work independently at times.

The salary range for this position is:  if pursuing Bachelor's degree = $20/hour, if pursuing Master's degree = $25/hour, if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
