What You’ll Do:
As an Accounting Intern, you will play a vital role in providing accounting and investor services support while working alongside our dedicated team. This part-time position requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
In your first few weeks, you will:
- Prepare ad-hoc reconciliations and schedules in Excel, and assist with setting up the chart of accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and perform cash reconciliation calculations.
- Support the preparation of fund financial statements, along with footnotes and supporting schedules.
- Help with managing our client web portal for investor communications.
Who We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should be a current student as described above and demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Internship Duration:
This internship is designed for students and will continue until the completion of your studies or for a maximum of 6 months, whichever occurs first. Additionally, there may be an opportunity to extend the internship for another 6 months, pending mutual satisfaction and a demonstrated business need.
