JR61128 Intern - Firmware Test Engineer

Project Title: Firmware Test Development for Solid State Drive (SSD)
Description:
Design and develop test scripts to ensure SSD Firmware meets product requirements. Primary focus is on white and grey box test development. Support SSD Firmware development by testing SSD Firmware comprehensively during all development phases. Triage failures and help development teams to resolve SSD firmware issue.
Scope:
Student will be assigned to work on new SSD Firmware feature with the guidance from mentor. He/ She will interact with System Architecture, NAND Architecture Group and Firmware team to gain full understanding of the feature. Student will design and develop test scripts based on the feature requirements. He/ She will be able to learn in-depth SSD Firmware design/ algorithm, standard coding process and how to use Micron's internal tool to verify SSD Firmware.
Deliverable:
Develop test scripts to verify new SSD Firmware features and ensure product requirements are met.
Skillset Required:
1. Familiar with programming tools and Linux environment
2. Extensive experience in Python programming.
3. Ability to work independently with minimum day-to-day supervision.
4. Ability to work in a cross functional team.
5. Good attitude and willing to learn.
Target Courses: Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Internship Duration: 6 months (January 2025 to May 2025)
