The Corporate Financial Systems Intern will work with the OneStream systems, Corporate Accounting, and Financial Analysis teams to complete monthly financial reporting and participate in other corporate finance work/projects. This position will report directly to the Manager – Financial Systems but will have exposure to the entire Corporate Finance team in addition to opportunities to collaborate with other functional departments and operational finance teams.
Over the course of the internship, the individual will gain first-hand knowledge of the OneStream financial consolidation platform and the critical role it plays in such a large, diverse organization. The OneStream team works with multiple departments to solve a variety of reporting needs. The individual will also be part of a dynamic corporate environment, interacting with members of other functional areas in both work-related and social situations.
Certain peak periods may provide opportunity for overtime. This Internship is a paid position and will run for 10 weeks from June to August; exact dates can be flexible.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop a basic understanding of a financial consolidation system
• Participate in the monthly management reporting process
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
• Attend department and project status meetings
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Special projects at the direction of supervisor

Qualifications:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Systems, or related field
• Rising sophomore or junior
• 3.0+ GPA
• Ability to work remotely and onsite as needed
• Conceptual understanding of basic finance and accounting
• Ability to comply with deadlines
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Interest in technology and process improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• No previous experience required

Target compensation: $22.00 - $24.00/hour
