About the Role
Ricoh USA, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Co-op to join our Corporate Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting and compliance while contributing to process automation and improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Support tax compliance and provision processes, including data gathering and analysis.
- Perform research on tax regulations and assist with documentation.
- Maintain tax records and ensure accuracy in data entry.
- Collaborate on process automation and improvement projects, requiring quick learning of new technologies.
- Contribute to data analysis for tax-related projects and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in college, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Strong data analytical skills; experience with data analysis tools or ERP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting and tax concepts or prior coursework in related fields.
