The Intern - Intern - Finance position will be located in our HOWMET MEXICO/HOWMET DEL RIO, TX
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Plant HOWMET MEXICO/HOWMET DEL RIO, TX team as a Process Engineer Summer Intern. This position will assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and improvement initiatives.
The 2026 Summer Internship Program also includes: lunch & learns presented by senior leaders, tours of our manufacturing plants & processes, networking opportunities, volunteering in the local community, and fun social activities to connect with fellow interns.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Education:
• This position requires a university diploma in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
2. Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and systems. Experience with Oracle and MRP preferred.
• Ability to communicate, manage correspondence, and create procedures in English (85%) and Spanish.
• Ability to develop reports and communicate with management. Perform analyses and solve problems in diverse situations to recommend solutions and savings.
• Ability to create presentations using Excel and PowerPoint, communicate via email, and interpret management instructions in English (85%) and Spanish.
• Strong teamwork skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Positive attitude and initiative in performing job activities.
