What You’ll Actually Do
Chevron is hiring MBA Finance Interns for roles at various operating locations across the U.S, including:
Houston, TX
The FCMP Summer Internship is a key entry point to our two-year rotational program. Interns complete one assignment over 10–12 weeks at Chevron’s corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas. Throughout the summer, interns participate in training, social events, and networking with FCMP members, alumni, and senior Chevron leaders.
What’s Next After the Internship
Top‑performing interns may be invited back—or offered a full‑time role after graduation.
New grads who join Chevron fulltime enter the Horizons Program, a structured early‑career experience that includes:
Formal training + on‑the‑job learning
Mentorship from experienced professionals
Multiple job assignments and possible location rotations

3+ years pre-MBA work experience

Important Notes for MBA Candidates
- If you receive and accept an FCMP Summer Internship offer: during your internship, you must not engage in any other employment, consulting or other activity that would conflict with Chevron’s interests. In accepting our offer, you confirm that you have no contractual commitments or other legal obligations that would prohibit you from performing your duties for Chevron.
- Completing an FCMP Summer Internship does not guarantee an individual will receive a full-time offer from Chevron. For individuals who receive and accept a full-time FCMP offer: the full-time start date will be in July 2027.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated monthly (hourly) range for this position is $9500/month – $11500/month. The selected candidate’s monthly or hourly compensation will be determined based on their selected role, degree level and academic year.
As an intern, you will receive the following benefits:
Furnished housing.
Participation in Employee Savings Investment Plan with immediate vesting in both employee and company contributions.
Chevron matching contributions:
4% company match for a 1% employee contribution.
8% company match for a 2% employee contribution.
Work schedules:
Flexible work schedules (5/40, 9/80, or 4/10), as determined by the work group and confirmed with the hiring manager.
Paid holidays depending on your work schedule.
Full year of service credit for each internship completion (must be re-employed within 365 days)
