Job Details:
This position is for a summer Internship based in our South Jordan, UT, office from May 2027 – August 2027.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-work and execution of internal audits, including evaluating risks and controls, performing audit testing, and writing conclusions and action plan recommendations in an audit report
- Analyze audit and operational data to identify noncompliance with policies, weak or non-existent controls and ineffective or non-functioning controls.
- Communicate audit and risk findings to audit manager and document the findings in a formal written audit report.
- Review existing control effectiveness and recommend opportunities to improve the control environment.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with a graduation date of August 2027 or later
- Ability to travel to an audit site for a week at a time, possibly twice during the internship
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely
- Ability to work with others in inconsistent environments and while traveling
- Available to work full-time for the duration of the summer (May – August 2027)
- Must not require sponsorship to legally work in the U.S. (i.e., H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, O-1, E-3, or any other work visas), now or in the future
