This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work full-time through the Summer of 2027. The internship is located out of either our Lakeville, MN or Mankato, MN office locations. If pursuing internship credit through your university, it is your responsibility to consult with your advisor and review the internship's job description to ensure it meets the minimum eligibility requirements.
The contributions you will make:
This internship will lead and/or coordinate projects pertaining to Compeer Financial's education and events programming for clients and team members.
A typical day:
- Assist in maintaining Compeer's client facing Learning Management System and developing reports for various internal stakeholders.
- Develop e-learning modules consistent with Compeer's brand and curriculum for clients.
- Work closely with the events team to design, produce and execute events for internal team members and clients.
- Assist with the production and marketing of virtual events and webinar programming.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited program with a major in business administration, marketing, human resources, hospitality, public relations, project management, instructional design or closely related major.
- Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to juggle several projects/tasks at once and set priorities.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office computer applications.
Knowledge of course creation programs a plus.
How we will take care of you:
Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
