YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
- Conduct risk assessments for equipment, processes, and job tasks; identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform EHS audits, inspections, and workstation reviews to ensure compliance with safety standards and work instructions.
- Develop, update, and maintain EHS risk assessments and related documentation through the document control system.
- Conduct facility safety observations to verify PPE compliance and identify unsafe conditions, including slip, trip, fall, and machine guarding hazards.
- Assist with incident investigations, injury reporting, workers’ compensation processes, and corrective action follow-up.
- Support environmental compliance activities by maintaining records, conducting chemical inventory audits, and ensuring SDS documentation is current and accessible.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, training programs, and employee safety initiatives.
- Provide administrative support through EHS data entry, reporting, documentation management, and participation in continuous improvement projects.

- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus but not required.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work throughout the year, including during academic semesters and breaks.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with employees at all levels.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
