Job Summary:
The Engineering Content Development Intern will support the creation of engineering content for Avnet's digital design ecosystem, including the Avnet App within Autodesk Fusion and related engineering platforms.
This role provides hands-on experience in electronics design, application research, and content development. The intern will learn how real-world electronic systems are architected and contribute to the development of schematics and functional design content used by engineers worldwide.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Learn Avnet's content creation processes, standards, workflows, and engineering content platforms, including Autodesk Fusion and the Avnet App.
- Research and study market-specific applications and solutions to understand system architectures, major functional blocks, and technology requirements.
- Research and study market-specific applications and solutions to understand system architectures, major functional blocks, and technology requirements.
- Participate in peer reviews and continuously improve design quality based on technical feedback and established best practices.
- Research electronic components and technologies, review datasheets and parametric information, understand Avnet taxonomy standards, and develop reusable functional modules for engineering content.

Work Experience:
- Typically requires less than one year of related experience.
Education and Certification(s):
- One year remaining before graduating from university.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
- Candidates must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or comparable Engineering Discipline.
