Job Description:
Microchip is seeking a dynamic individual to join our IT Business Process Workflow Tools management team as an intern. A qualified candidate must currently be enrolled in college.
This position requires an individual who can create instructional material including videos on how to use the features in the workflow management tool or create workarounds. They will need to enhance and maintain confluence pages to include the videos. They will need to manage the workflow tool access requests from the users. They will also need to enhance and fix bugs in a python based portal that is used to maintain the workflow blueprints and issues from the users, and the access requests. Occasionally they may need to work with business users to understand their business processes, identify scenarios where an automated workflow tool can be used, and help them get started using the self service workflow tools.
Requirements/Qualifications:
The candidate must be enrolled in college for either a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Instructional design, Education, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating instructional material including videos on how to use the features in the workflow management tool or create workarounds.
- Enhancing and maintaining confluence pages to include the videos.
- Managing user access requests on the workflow tool portal
- Enhancing and fixing bugs in a python based portal that is used to maintain the workflow blueprints and issues from the users, and the access requests.

Verbal/Written Communication:
The candidate must have strong English language (verbal and written communication) skills. Candidate should be able to contribute in group meetings, provide project updates, write training documents, and relay information accurately to other parties.
