MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Electrical Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in our Fayetteville, Arkansas office location. You will work in a fast-paced, fun and rewarding environment with people who will appreciate your contribution. You will gain hands-on experience implementing and supporting creative automation solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing process and machines.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Design, specify, and implement electrical control systems
- Design and implement mechanical systems and fixtures for use in automated applications
- Program robots, PLCs, HMIs, and CNC equipment
- Work with mentors and teams to solve problems to improve real manufacturing processes
- Improve system designs for better safety and production efficiency
- Develop and execute in-house testing procedures
- Perform data collection and analysis
Qualifications of the Position Include:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Controls, or related technology field. GPA 3.0 or above
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Autodesk Inventor
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of circuit design and power systems
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc Robots, and/or HAAS CNCs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
