The Ecotoxicology Unit provides technical support for product testing on ecotoxicology and environmental fate, environmental incidence, environmental compliance and beyond compliance initiatives to PETRONAS businesses. The role of this position is to ensure all ecotoxicology related activities are handled efficiently and completed in timely manner.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in the ecological risk assessment in conducting literature review, data crunching, data analysis and preparing reports for ecological initiatives and environmental incidents.
Assist in the planning and report review for ecotoxicology and environmental fate related to product testing.
- Assist in the review of ecotoxicology data for product safety data sheet (SDS).
- Assist in the update and maintaining ecotoxicology related dashboard.
Assist the Ecotoxicology team with documentation and engagement activities.
Candidate requirements:
On-going or completed bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or biological sciences or related fields.
A minimum of 4-months internship is preferred.
Knowledgeable and experienced in aquatic ecology or ecotoxicology (preferably).
Experience with presentation, graphic design and multimedia is preferred.
Are highly motivated and eager to learn.
