INTERNSHIP DIGITAL ENGINEER

At Huntsman we're looking for an Internship Digital Engineer who is eager to explore how AI, data and digital tools can solve real business challenges and support smarter decision-making across our Supply Chain organization.

Role Overview:  

This is a unique opportunity to work on an innovative enterprise AI solution on Databricks, combining hands-on technical development with exposure to real business processes. You will help prototype AI-driven tools, build knowledge repositories, and contribute to real-time decision-assist capabilities designed to support live meetings and operational discussions for our Business and Supply Chain.

You will collaborate with experienced digital, data and supply chain experts, gaining practical experience in areas such as LLM agents, domain modelling, data engineering, real-time audio integration and user feedback loops.

Role Responsibilities: 

As an Internship Digital Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

  • Support the development of AI-driven tools using Databricks, LLM agents and business data sources.

  • Help build knowledge repositories and data structures for business insights, operational rules and contextual information.

  • Contribute to privacy and data quality measures, including business knowledge capture.

  • Prototype real-time meeting support features, including Speech-to-Text integration and decision-assist UI concepts.

  • Collect and analyse user feedback to improve AI recommendations, prompts and agent performance.

Experience and Competencies: 

We are looking for motivated students with a strong interest in AI, data engineering and digital transformation.

What we are looking for: 

  • Currently studying Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field.

  • Good written and spoken English skills.

  • Some experience with Python, SQL, data analysis or machine learning through studies, projects or internships.

  • Interest in AI tools and concepts such as LLMs, automation, prompt engineering, RAG or AI agents.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, cloud platforms, Git, Streamlit or Dash would be an advantage.

  • Curious, proactive and analytical mindset, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
