Role description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Development Operations Intern to join our 2027 university program for a duration of 6 months starting in March 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation, contributing to projects that directly support the reliability and scalability of our systems.
You will work closely with experienced SRE and DevOps engineers, learning how to design, implement, and optimize automation pipelines that ensure our software is delivered efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications.
- Support the setup and management of cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
- Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response to maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into CI/CD workflows.
- Research and evaluate new DevOps tools and practices to improve automation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with OOP languages (Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong interest in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and automation.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation: €10/hour (35 working hours per week)
Start Date: March 2027
