The build and deployment team is the "spider in the web" team at IFS R&D. Team is working on facilitating that the whole solution is built together by owning and promoting the use of modern CI pipelines and automating the delivery of various test environments. The team also has the responsibility to help promote DevOps practices throughout the R&D organization.

An DevOps Engineering Intern at IFS R&D plays a supportive role in ensuring that what we develop can run effectively in production while contributing to the automation of processes spanning from framework development to customer deployment.

As a DevOps Engineering Intern , you will assist in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining tooling/automation solutions under the guidance of experienced team members. This role involves learning and contributing to driving the reliability and efficiency of our operational platforms while supporting the implementation of continuous integration, testing, and deployment processes using industry DevOps best practices and tools.

Interns in this role will collaborate with team members to gain hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, and deployment strategies. With a strong focus on learning, they will actively engage in developing their technical skills, ensuring they contribute effectively to the robustness of the team's daily operations.

A DevOps Engineering Intern is expected to show a strong commitment to service and process quality while taking the initiative to learn and assist in resolving technical challenges as they arise. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in DevOps methodologies while contributing to meaningful projects that enhance the reliability and automation of our systems.

• Exposure to Linux environments and command line tools
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills along with an innovative mindset
• Exposure to technologies such as Powershell, Kubernetes, Docker, Shell Scripting, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines is an added advantage
