Key Responsibilities
- Create seasonal collections targeting main brands and product categories
- Design garments aligned with material innovation
- Contribute to mood board creation and material storytelling for internal and external presentations
- Assist in coordinating material testing and analysis processes
- Support trend research and competitor benchmarking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design and innovation) to align material selections with product needs

Qualifications
Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or a related field.
Exposure to fashion design (e.g., participation in fashion shows or related events) is an advantage.
Technical Skills & Competencies: (will be an added advantage)
- Strong understanding of fabric properties, textures, and materials
- Knowledge of garment construction and pattern-making fundamentals
- Ability to translate design concepts into material solutions and garment designs
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CLO3D for digital visualization
- Research and trend analysis skills in textile innovation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to document findings effectively
- Good communication and presentation skills
Experience: (will be an added advantage)
- Prior coursework or projects related to fabric/material development
- Experience creating design catalogues, brochures, mood boards, etc.
- Internship or work experience in a fashion brand, textile manufacturer, or R&D team is a plus
