We are looking for you starting January 2027 as an
Intern Debt Financing & Capital Markets (m/f/d)
In this role, you will be part of our Munich Debt Financing & Capital Markets team and support acquisition financings and refinancings across all Private Equity investment vehicles as a fully integrated team member. We are looking for an intern for a period of at least 12 weeks.
Responsibilities:
Contributing to acquisition financings for M&A transactions as well as refinancings of portfolio companies across various industries and regions, especially Europe and North America
Analysing information memorandums and supporting debt capacity assessments, due diligence reviews and financial modelling
Preparing process documents such as teasers and lender presentations for potential financing partners
Deriving and presenting key financing considerations to the internal team to support informed decision-making
Supporting deal execution and legal documentation
Profile:
Advanced Bachelor’s or ongoing Master’s degree with a major in business, finance, science or engineering at a renowned university
Strong academic performance
First relevant practical experience from internships in related areas (Investment Banking / Leveraged Finance, Private Credit, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Advisory)
High motivation paired with analytical thinking and excellent teamwork skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills; German is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
