We are seeking a detail-oriented Intern Data Analyst to join our team for a six-month engagement focused on optimizing our fundraising and donor management operations. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, ensuring the integrity of our donor databases, and providing strategic insights that drive campaign success. The ideal candidate will support the organization by maintaining robust reporting systems, conducting comprehensive trend analyses, and delivering clear, management-ready summaries that inform critical decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and continuously update comprehensive databases related to fundraising activities, donor information, and ongoing campaigns.
  • Develop and manage accurate Excel tracking sheets, Management Information Systems (MIS), and standardized reporting templates.
  • Execute routine data cleaning, validation protocols, and quality assurance checks to guarantee high data integrity.
  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports detailing fundraising outcomes and campaign progress.
  • Analyze donor behavior patterns, including retention rates, acquisition of new donors versus repeat contributors, and giving trends.
  • Evaluate campaign performance by comparing actual results against established targets and historical data from previous periods.
  • Create and sustain user-friendly dashboards, charts, and visual data representations to track key metrics.
  • Compile and present executive-level data summaries and presentations tailored for leadership review.
  • Identify emerging trends, operational gaps, and provide strategic recommendations to support organizational goals.
  • Ensure all datasets, tracking tools, and reports are properly documented and systematically organized.
  • Compile and submit a comprehensive final analysis report at the end of the six-month term, summarizing key findings, observed trends, and strategic recommendations.
