Job Description
The Data & AI department provides the end-to-end big data and analytics solutions and services for Business Units and Corporate Functions in CapitaLand. You will be part of the team to use data and generate insights to solve business questions. You will work closely with business users to understand their business needs and use data from both internal and external sources to address business questions. Business users will take on the transformed data and derive insights for decision making.
Responsibilities

Build a robust and scalable Enterprise Data Platform for batch/real-time data processing

Develop data processing pipelines for ingestion, modelling, analysis, mining and reporting with SQL, Spark, Python, etc

Solve technical challenges posted to the Enterprise Data Platform in huge volume, velocity, and business complexity

Provide Data Analyst and Data Science teams with Data Engineering support for analytical and machine learning use cases

Collaborate with CapitaLand’s infrastructure to implement data governance and security best practices

Support data management projects and perform additional data-related tasks as required
Requirements

Preferred studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronical Engineering, or related disciplines

Strong programming experience in SQL, Python, or Java

Possess a strong willingness to learn on the job continuously, embracing new and varied technologies that are centred around all aspects of data management

Good to have knowledge on Microsoft stack of analytics products (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, Integration Services, Power BI)

Experience with Hadoop, Hive and Spark will be advantageous

Good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams and partner with business stakeholders
