KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in conducting weekly and monthly capacity analysis to support effective production planning and target achievement within the cutting department.
Support the review and updating of Standard Minute Values (SMVs) for fabric laying processes to ensure accurate manpower and capacity planning.
Assist in reviewing, maintaining and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with operational and quality standards.
Monitor and analyze Raw Material Consumption (RMC) and support initiatives to reduce fabric wastage and improve material utilization.
Prepare and maintain reports related to capacity, productivity, efficiency, SMVs and material consumption to support operational decision-making.
Collaborate with production, planning and industrial engineering teams to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance cutting department performance.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Undergraduate or recent graduate pursuing a Degree in Apparel and Textile Engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Basic knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, including cutting, fabric utilization and industrial engineering concepts, will be an added advantage.
