This paid intern opportunity will give a student the ability to gain real-world experience in the field of corporate financial planning & analysis in a global multinational enterprise. The ideal candidate will be preparing for a career in corporate finance and will have experience using the Microsoft Suite of software applications. The candidate will assist the Global FP&A department in routine and strategic project tasks. 


Duration:


40 hours per week during summer 2027. The target start is May/June, and will conclude August/September, depending on student's academic schedule.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Corporate deliverables – assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly closing requirements
  • Assist in preparing reports for financial plans and operating forecasts for specific corporate functions (G&A) and total company 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including working with others on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support forecasts, monthly and quarterly performance reporting of actuals vs. budget
  • Help coordinate the monitoring of and processes related to Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Drive a project to completion and present it to senior management

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least three years of college-level coursework (Finance or related)
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel skills (Pivot tables, vlookup, charts, graphs, formulas and financial functions)
  • Professional workplace communication skills
  • Understanding of financial planning, analysis and reporting
  • Experience using digital workplace collaboration tools and resources (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Preferred Skills & Experience:


  • Completion of advanced corporate finance courses
  • Prior corporate finance experience
  • Experience using Oracle

Travel: 0 - 10%


Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.


This position will be tied to our Liberty Lake, WA location with hybrid work flexibility of 2 days on-site per week.


Liberty Lake, WA: $15.87 - $44.23 per hour
