Our Financial Services Compliance and Regulation (“FSCR”) practice is looking for a motivated intern or apprentice to join a fast‑growing and dynamic team advising asset managers, private equity firms, investment firms and other regulated financial services institutions.
The role offers hands‑on exposure across the full regulatory lifecycle, including initial authorisations and registrations, audits and independent reviews, as well as ongoing outsourced compliance support, providing an excellent opportunity to build a strong understanding of an increasingly complex and evolving regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the team on client engagements, including the implementation of key financial regulations such as MiFID II, AIFMD and UCITS, as well as other sectoral requirements (SPIN 2, AML/CFT, DORA, GDPR).
Contribute to the assessment of non-compliance risks and assist in the implementation of second- and third-line control frameworks.
Conduct a proactive regulatory watch by monitoring publications from supervisory authorities and industry bodies and support the drafting of impact analyses for clients and internal teams.
Participate in the preparation of client deliverables, including training materials, regulatory impact notes and compliance reports.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal tools and intellectual property, including the update of templates, engagement trackers, training materials and monitoring tools.
Requirements:
Master’s level student for a final-year internship or apprenticeship (minimum of 6 months) from a business school, engineering school or university, with an interest in finance, compliance, regulation or audit.
Initial understanding or strong interest in financial services regulations, particularly those applicable to asset management companies and investment firms.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, with a willingness to continue developing them in a professional context.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a positive attitude and a desire to learn from others.
Analytical mindset and curiosity, with an interest in understanding complex regulatory topics.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
