About The Role

Are you ready to dive into complex business environments and help shape high-impact recommendations for leading Telecom, Media, and Technology clients across Europe? As an Intern within FTI Consulting’s TMT Strategy and Transformation team, you will join a vertically specialized practice with a strong functional focus on strategy.

You will be part of a close-knit team of 35 professionals serving European clients across two dedicated TMT hubs. In this dynamic and collaborative environment, you will work alongside experienced consultants and recognized industry experts who will mentor you in identifying client challenges, conducting rigorous analysis, and developing insights that inform critical strategic decisions.

The role demands a sharp analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams while delivering high-quality outputs under tight deadlines. You will typically work in small, high-performing teams that actively encourage collaboration, learning, and ownership.

As part of FTI Consulting’s TMT Strategy and Transformation practice, you will contribute to projects spanning strategic planning through hands-on execution. 6-month internship opportunity starting in the first quarter of 2027

What You’ll Do 

• Provide support in day to day activities of projects including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel. 

• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., market sizing, market modeling, strategic planning, assessing business plans, etc.). 

• Supporting the development of strategic plans, business transformation and integration of companies. 

• Drafting of client presentations as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities. 

• Assisting in the development of pitch books and other marketing materials. 

• Conducting research on public and private companies and various industries. 

How You'll Grow

This is an excellent opportunity for a person with strong interest in Strategy / Business Transformation who wants to provide: 

• Analytical and operational services to companies and its stakeholders experiencing business turnaround and growth opportunities; 

• Support other Corporate Finance teams if required across multiple industries and project types including mergers & acquisitions, financings, and restructuring; And learn analytical, strategic and business skills through broad exposure to both junior and senior consultants / clients, that will prepare you for a full-time career in Business Transformation / Strategy.

You Will Need to Succeed

 
Basic Qualifications   

• Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree or completing a master’s program. Candidates currently enrolled in postgraduate programmes (e.g., Master in Management, Master in Finance or similar) are considered a plus

• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the internship   

• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s)    

  
Preferred Qualifications

• Recent graduate, or pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field   

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills   

• A logical and lateral thinker, who is intellectually curious, highly organized, and structured   

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and add value in an international environment   

• A team player, who can work in a truly diverse setting, possessing cultural awareness    

• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) in a professional environment   

• Strong interest for business transformation, market modelling and strategic planning. 

• Fluency in English. Other languages would be a key asset.
