This position will be hybrid work for candidates who reside in the Des Moines Metro area.
Essential Functions:
Project Development: Contribute to 1–2 medium/large or 3–4 small-scale projects, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile delivery team, engaging in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to deliver incremental value.
Technical Execution: Write and maintain clean code, assist with debugging, and support application enhancements using modern tools and frameworks.
Mentorship & Learning: Receive coaching from senior engineers and gain exposure to enterprise development practices through shadowing and hands-on experience.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of technical work and present project outcomes to stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure performance, security, and scalability standards are met.
Education & Experience:
Completion of sophomore year preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Web development and general programming knowledge
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.50-$23.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
