Fox Tech is seeking a passionate and motivated Backend Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend systems that power real-world applications. You’ll gain exposure to modern server-side technologies and best practices in software engineering.

About the Role:

As a Backend Engineering Intern, you will assist in building and maintaining APIs, databases, and core logic that drive our applications. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to design robust architectures, write efficient code, and ensure system reliability and scalability.

You have a strong interest in backend technologies, databases, and performance optimization. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to learn modern backend frameworks and cloud platforms.

A Snapshot of the Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of server-side logic and APIs.

• Integrate data storage solutions such as SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving backend performance.

• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless data flow and system reliability.

• Help with testing, debugging, and deploying backend services.

• Document technical details, API specifications, and workflows.

What You Will Need:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.

• Basic programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Express, Spring Boot).

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (MySQL, MongoDB), and version control (Git).

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• A passion for learning new technologies and building scalable systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with Data driven projects.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with an enthusiasm for working with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
