Responsibilities

We seek a motivated, tech-savvy Intern, Agentic AI (Business Technology) to join our Business Technology team. This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to work on our innovative "BT Genie" project—an AI-powered IT assistant that will transform how our teams interact with technology resources and knowledge. You will gain hands-on experience with advanced AI applications in a real business environment while developing valuable skills in prompt engineering, vector databases, knowledge retrieval, and business process optimization.

  • Improve BT Genie's ticket management capabilities by testing automation workflows and analyzing user interactions.

  • Support the enhancement of BT Genie's AI prompt design to improve response accuracy, contextual understanding, and user experience.

  • Help implement and test a custom vector store to improve knowledge retrieval and relevance of BT Genie's responses.

  • Collaborate on embedding and indexing strategies for more effective information recall from knowledge sources.

  • Document user feedback and compile suggestions for enhancing BT Genie's capabilities.

  • Collaborate with the BT Ops team to identify knowledge gaps and common user queries to enhance BT Genie's ability to provide accurate information.

RequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT, or related fields.

  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and automation technologies.

  • Basic understanding of vector databases and embeddings, especially multi-modal embeddings for text, images and videos.

  • Familiarity with or strong interest in learning prompt engineering techniques for large language models.

  • Basic understanding of ticketing systems and knowledge management systems; experience with Atlassian products, like Jira and Confluence, will be a plus.

  • Interest in learning about workflow automation and business process integration.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
