S&T Bank Summer Internship Program: May 20, 2026 -August 7, 2026

Summer internship participants will:

Hours may be determined based on the needs of the department but will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Internship Program Starting Rate: $13.00/hour

Function: Works under the direction of department management, in a capacity of departmental backup and support, performing assigned duties.     

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation and development of the Account Reconciliation project

• Develop analytics and process for reporting and managing T&E expenditures in tracking software program

• Assumes other administrative duties to include answering phone calls from employees and applicants regarding a variety of requests, creating reports, sort and open mail, creating and posting memos, and ordering supplies.

• Provides customer service to internal and external customers through answering incoming telephone calls and noting accurate and detailed messages.

• Researches and resolves questions for both internal & external customers.

• Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepare reports and perform research.

• Enters data into spreadsheets and databases to process and prepare reports.

• Assists with file room servicing, including document retrieval, filing and copying files.

• Assists with moving storage boxes and equipment.

• Occasionally travels to various locations; valid driver’s license required. 

• Performs research and/or analysis on special projects, as assigned.

• Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

• Performs additional duties as required.

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education. In pursuit of a four-year degree in data science, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, economics, business, or related.

Experience:

Up to one-year general experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Occasional travel may be required.
