As an Indirect Regional Supplier Management Intern, you will be learning about developing a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and the respective internal partners and stakeholders. You will be assisting with strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and execute negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Analysis
- Assist in identifying and evaluating category-specific savings/revenue levers.
- Support in driving category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.
- Assisting collecting market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Apply should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace.
Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
- Support in implementing processes to monitor stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers.
- Assist in analyzing sourcing trends and making recommendations for assigned categories.
- Collaborate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions.
- Support a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement, and escalate if necessary.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Computer Science, and graduating after August 2026
