Key responsibilities

The Intermodal Planner boosts Operations Team’s efficiency while enhancing growth by optimizing processes and vendor relationships. The role’s initiatives and performance analysis drive operational excellence and innovation.

• Excellence transportation planning across different modes
• Find ways to connect various corridors effectively
• Enhance strong relationships with vendors and resolve operational challenges
• Monitor various aspects of vendor performance and service level for customers. Generate and present reports on transportation performance, costs, OTD, volumes and other key metrics to stakeholders
• Continuous improvement - identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of transport operations
• Demonstrate and present visible results of work
• Share industry insights with colleagues, stay updated on trends, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and growth
• Fully understand all tools and systems essential for transportation reporting and planning
• Perfect awareness of transportation costs. Analyse transportation costs and work to reduce expenses through strategic planning and negotiation

Your profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in rail & road transport
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders
• Upholding company values and ethics
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapts to changes and maintains a positive outlook
• Logistics and Intermodal Knowledge: Stays informed about industry trends and best practices
• You have experience within the shipping and logistics industry
• You are open to change and drive customer improvement initiatives
• You have an interest in digitalization and shaping the digital future of customer service
• You can think out of the box to find solutions
• You are an empathetic person who is an excellent communicator, relating well to all kinds of people
• Full-time availability
• You are fluent in Polish and advanced English
