The Role

Job Description:

The Intermediate Software Developer brings experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing APIs and messaging services to join the APIs and Messaging Chapter. You will be part of a scrum team that will support all aspects of software development including estimates, design, coding, testing, code reviews, automation, and support of solutions and their deployment process. Teams will support specific services. These services work together to provide flight operation solutions for airlines to run safe and performant operations. 

Main responsibilities: 

Develop new and maintain existing .NET Core C# code in a cloud environment, including ASP.NET Web API and AWS SDKs. 

Develop new and maintain existing .NET Core C# code in a cloud environment Involved in technical designs, with a focus on building solid APIs and driving new standards when it comes to integrations between services. 

Experience and education: 

At least 3+ years of professional experience in software development. 

Recent experience developing software with .NET Core, C#, and AWS or equivalent. Hands-on experience with RESTful/SOAP API design, development, optimization, testing, and security. 

Experience with creating mocks and API management platforms such as Swagger or OpenAPI. Relevant leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to take initiative, be accountable for project deliverables, and provide mentorship to Junior developers. You have a College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree within the software engineering area of study or equivalent professional experience. 

Proficiency in English.
